She is a multi-passionate gal from LA, California, and I want to do it all.Unfortunately, sometimes she has to specialize in order to find that illusive niche that everyone keeps talking about. She is not just one thing and cannot really define herself as just one thing.

She is an illustrator, but also enjoy other creative endeavors like crafts and handmade and at times find myself obsessed with mixed media and 3D art. Her dream is to gain financial independence through her art business so she can travel the world and experience different cultures and adventures.

You are not going to find cute little teddy bears and happy smiling babies here. If you are looking for cutsy wutsy, you are in the wrong place. Her work is all about monsters, dragons and all sorts of fantasy creatures. It can be cute, but only in a creepy kind of way—definitely not for babies and very small children.

Her work is a profusion of intricate details, organic flowing lines and a touch of a little Art Nouveau here and there. She grew up with a love for dark fairy tales and a deep admiration for Children Book illustrators like Arthur Rackham and Edmund Dulac. Fantasy art for her has always been a way to escape into another world. She believes that an illustrated book should be like a window into a realm of possibilities and adventure, a playground of imagination and fun. And that is exactly what I do—bring stories to life through illustration. There is nothing more exciting for her then to give you a glimpse into a strange new world where anything is possible.

At eighteen, Tania Peters still carries deep scars from her mother’s tragic death, and when she’s betrayed by someone close, pain and confusion threaten to swallow her whole. But underneath all the hurt, she senses the hand of purpose on her life and finds hope in an exciting new political movement.

The Unity Party seems to offer everything —tolerance, compassion, and a plan to unite society. But not everyone sees the movement as good. Tania’s two brothers, Jeremy and Greg, have become bitter enemies over the ideals of the Party, and her father, a church pastor, fears that this promised “unity” is a threat to churches across the country.

Tania doesn’t share her father’s faith and sees no room for a loving God in the world she’s come to know. Instead, she gains strength from her rising celebrity within the Unity Party, finding friendship, acceptance, and even the first traces of romance. But none of these things can save her when her extremist brother plots to bring down the Unity Party in their home town of Midian.

Pitted between the Party’s Utopian promises and the Christian friends and families who find themselves on the outside of this new American dream, Tania must choose between her long dormant faith in God and her future with the Party.

...But that one decision could cost her everything—including her life.

Whispering Angel Books mourns his loss as we cherish some of his most treasured quotes:

"You can't live a perfect day without doing something for someone who will never be able to repay you."

"If you don't have time to do it right, when will you have time to do it over?"

"Do not let what you cannot do interfere with what you can do."

"Talent is God given. Be humble. Fame is man-given. Be grateful. Conceit is self-given. Be careful."

"If you're not making mistakes, then you're not doing anything. I'm positive that a doer makes mistakes."

"Don't measure yourself by what you have accomplished, but by what you should have accomplished with your ability."

"It isn't what you do, but how you do it."

"Success is never final, failure is never fatal. It's courage that counts."

"Ability is a poor man's wealth."

"Failure is not fatal, but failure to change might be."

"It's what you learn after you know it all that counts."

"It's the little details that are vital. Little things make big things happen."

"Success comes from knowing that you did your best to become the best that you are capable of becoming."

"Things turn out best for the people who make the best of the way things turn out."

"Never mistake activity for achievement."

"Be more concerned with your character than your reputation, because your character is what you really are, while your reputation is merely what others think you are.

"Be prepared and be honest."

"You can't let praise or criticism get to you. It's a weakness to get caught up in either one."

"Adversity is the state in which man mostly easily becomes acquainted with himself, being especially free of admirers then."

Rest In Peace And May Your Wisdom Continue To Inspire Us All.

Announcing Whispering Angel Books eBooks

Whispering Angel Books is proud to announce that our books are now available as Adobe eBooks.

Hope Whispers contributors and fellow authors, Brandon Barr and Judy Kirk, joined us for this amazing two-day event that drew over 130,000 enthusiastic readers and writers. During that time, we had the opportunity to meet so many people who were truly interested in and supportive of our books and the spirit of our company.

Judy and Brandon sold and signed copies of their individual books while copies of Hope Whispers and Angel's Dance sold at a brisk pace. Our newsletter, which featured several books written by our contributors, was snatched up by visitors at an even faster pace.

A special thank you to Brandon, Judy, Amanda (& baby Nathan), Jim, and Lynn for staffing our booth and making it a successful event.

Our special festival pricing will be ending in just a few hours at 6pm today, Pacific Time. Please visit us at www.whisperingangelbooks.com to take advantage of these prices.

P.S. We will be posting some festival pictures shortly.

American Midnight – At 18, Tania Peters senses the hand of purpose on her life and finds hope in an exciting new political movement.
