Whispering Angel Books to Help Earthquake Victims in Haiti
Whispering Angel Books has announced that a portion of their book sales will benefit the American Red Cross.
Proceeds from Hope Whispers: An Anthology of Inspirational Poems and Short Stories and Angel's Dance: A Collection of Uplifting & Inspirational Poetry will support their Haitian relief efforts, bringing fresh water, medical care and emotional support to those devastated by the tragedy.
The American Red Cross shelters, feeds and provides emotional support to victims of disasters; supplies nearly half of the nation's blood; teaches lifesaving skills; provides international humanitarian aid; and supports military members and their families. The Red Cross is a charitable organization — not a government agency — and depends on volunteers and the generosity of the American public to perform its mission.
