In “The Janitor,” Hope Whispers contributor Naty Smith shares the touching story of a man whose life is changed by a church janitor.  Jason, feeling defeated from a frustrating and unfulfilling life, is drawn through the doors of a neighborhood church.  While searching for answers, he meets the elderly janitor who helps him find his way back to God and the life he yearns to have. It’s only after meeting the pastor of the church that he learns about the janitor who turned his world around.

Naty Smith started writing at the age of 14.   She was the editor of the school newspaper in both high school and college and also won first place in a school poetry contest.   After college, life took over and had to place her writings on hold, but all the while she knew something was missing.  So in 2009, with a plot already in her mind, she decided to pursue some of her dormant dreams by beginning to write a book.  This was the missing piece to her life, and feeling alive again, promised herself that she'd never stop writing again.
